The hook type shot-blasting machine
with hook-and-monorail system. The objects to be blasted are suspended from
a hook mounted on a wheeled trolley in what is often referred to as the
“ideal cylinder”, that is the ideal physical arrangement for shot-blasting
work.
The hook and trolley are mounted on
a monorail with a “Y” type junction. The hooks are loaded with target
objects and then pushed manually, and alternately, into the shot-blast
cabinet. Whilst one set of target objects are being treated the second hook
can be unloaded and reloaded with new objects. The treatment process and
blasting time inside the cabinet are fully automatically. Each hook can be
rotated inside the cabinet to ensure full treatment.
